Foundations Events

Starting Your Journey

When people are new to our School it is wisest for them to join one or more of our foundation events. These courses are designed to provide an introduction to Nei Gong as well as the core exercises of our school. They are taught by Damo Mitchell and several other teachers who form a ‘core teaching team’ of Nei Gong instructors. There are many other teachers within our school as well; but the four listed at the bottom of this page work closely with Damo to ensure that the foundation courses are taught in a certain way.

The left hand column shows our upcoming ‘foundation courses’. These are the most sensible start point for joining Lotus Nei Gong. In the right hand column are other level 1 events that beginners are welcome to attend as well. In this case you may have assistance with some of the foundation skills though obviously not to the same extent as on a specific foundation course.

Roni Edlund is Damo’s wife; she has trained closely with him for over a decade and runs foundation events as well as ‘women specific’ events. She is the author of ‘Daoist Nei Gong for Women’ along with Damo

Sophie Johnson has a long training history within the internal arts. She begun with Qi Gong studies in her youth and then explored a number of practices prior to joining Lotus Nei Gong International

Mike Jones was an early student of Lotus Nei Gong and now assists by teaching foundation events for the main school as well as running his own classes and events in the town of Glastonbury in Somerset, UK
