London QGC Training
Various dates for 2.5 years
- Continuing 2.5 year long programme being taught in London, UK. We have a set group throughout this course and as such will not be taking new students onto these events
The 2.5 year long Qi Gong Certificate (QGC) programme is one way we use to teach a set group of students our level 1 syllabus. During the two and a half years the students are led systematically through our foundation practices and shown how to develop a basis in traditional Qi Gong and Nei Gong methods according to the Northern Daoist tradition. Students are led into the practice of building structure, opening the channels of the body, consolidating the lower Dan Tian and purging the body/mind system of excess pathogenic forms of Qi. This is a complete and traditional-style programme which is both demanding and strong in nature. Those who complete the programme have our blessing to teach the level 1 of our school’s syllabus.
Practices taught include:
- Wuji standing practice
- Ji Ben Qi Gong
- Wu Xing Qi Gong
- Wu Dao Yin
- Dragon Dao Yin
- Dan Tian Gong – Level 1
- Lotus Moon Qi Gong
Students are taught over a series of courses each year where practical instruction, theoretical lectures and direct transmission are used as teaching tools. Students are also given access to video material online which helps with their understanding of the background theory.
We run these 2.5 year long courses starting every few years (between 3-4 years apart) in various places around the world. If you would like more information on when and where the next course begins please contact us for more details.
The events are taught in central London at various locations which are emailed out to the students in attendance.
The only exception to this is the course held between the 24-28 February 2018 which is held in Vilamoura, Portugal
The days run from 9am until 5pm with an hour’s break for lunch. Students should find local accomodation in London.
The Nei Gong process taught by Damo Mitchell and Lotus Nei Gong is a classical process and is, at times, very strong. For this reason we do not recommend that anybody with psychological disorders or those with serious medical issues/needs attend these events. There are many ‘medical’ Qi Gong schools out there that would be more appropriate for these kinds of needs. Nei Gong is also not suitable for pregnant women or anybody under the age of 18 years old. Lastly we reserve the right to ask any student to leave the training immediately if we deem the training to be unsuitable for them or a risk to their well-being
